Disclosure, or the process of sharing information in order to move a relationship to honesty and healing, is an important step in the rebuilding process.
These tests are designed to determine truthfulness on an issue. This can be a single question such as "Did you do ____", or a more comprehensive topic like a sexual history with lots of questions and answers.
We would prepare questions first and when answered, take the test. Depending on the situation, this may include a few sessions to prepare (at least one session for consultation) and may include sessions after the test to review the results. This more thorough process is most common for couples going through a disclosure process.
Another option is a longer recovery and therapy process that would take you and your partner from beginning to end, with the goal of a better relationship. This is appropriate for couples who are not currently in therapy who are struggling or just discovered infidelity. They often need all the help they can get from a proven process.
Consultation or session rates are $160 per session and lie detector test rates are $400/test. There would like be a minimum preparation session and then test for a total of $560. If it's a disclosure process for couples, we usually need a minimum of a process consultation session ($160), preparation/review session for the test ($160), the test ($400), and then a 2 hour disclosure to review the information (2 sessions, or $320) to complete the process with a plan for moving forward. This would be a total cost of $1040. If you are already working with a therapist, you can do the disclosure with them, so the total cost would likely be $720 or so. Contact us above with questions or use the Book a Consultation link to see availability and start the process by scheduling a session.
If you're needing a lie detector test for different issues, please reach out and we'll get to know your situation better!
We meet together to discuss process and you complete a comprehensive sexual history and we review it together for completeness
Once your history is complete and you and your partner are ready, we schedule and take a lie detector test
If the lie detector test is passed, we then do a disclosure to cover all the information in the sexual history (can be done with your current therapist)
Let me help you through a sexual history disclosure so you can start fresh with a commitment to complete honesty and move on with your lives! I have seen this process end years of game playing and prepare both of you for more vulnerability and intimacy that are necessary for healing. Learn more at my website!
